University Oaks Water System*

Levy County, Florida

University Oaks Water System serves a residential area just north of the Town of Bronson.  Menadier Engineering’s Principal Engineer has provided grant procurement, engineering, permitting, and construction inspection for improvements to this system since 2018.  The aged system was experiencing extreme water loss due to line breaks, deteriorating pipes, and meter-less customers.  Since 2018, three phases have been reconstructed and phase IV is currently funded.  The improvements have decreased water loss, bolstered fire protection, increased revenue with accurate meter readings, and decreased the overall maintenance cost of the system.
